Credit cards are not accepted. Payment in cash Thai currency only. The above tariffs are subject to 7% tax. As rooms are charged according to the number of occupants, guests who have overnight visitors must register their visitor and have the room tariff adjusted accordingly. CHECK-IN time is 1:00 pm. CHECK-OUT time is 12:00 noon. MORNING CHECK-IN F R E E: The normal check-in time is 1:00 pm, but, unlike other hotels, The Atlanta does NOT charge for early check-in (that is, check-in between 6:00 am and 1:00 pm). The possibility of early check-in is subject to room availability. Full-day tariff is charged for very early check-in before 6:00 am. LATE AFTERNOON CHECK-OUT: Half-tariff charge for check-out after 12:00 noon but before 6:00 pm. The Atlanta does not normally accept reservations by telephone unless the reservation is being made at very short notice. The telephone numbers are (00-66-2) 252 6069 and (00-66-2) 252 1650. Reservations are normally processed when a fax is received. To make a reservation, you may wish to print out this page and fax it to The Atlanta on (00-66-2) 656 8123 or (00-66-2) 656 8124. with the required information: (i) your name and surname, and the name and surname of each and every person who will be arriving with you or arriving later as part of your group in this reservation, with title (Mr, Miss, Mrs, etc.) and nationality (ii) the postal address or dedicated fax number to which you would like our reply to be sent. The fax number should indicate clearly the country code, city code and the number. (iii) your e-mail. Please note that The Atlanta does not have an official e-mail address nor does it respond to reservations by e-mail. Your e-mail will be used only in case of emergency. (iv) the kind of room(s) you would like to have (v) your date of arrival (eg. 2nd March 2008, not the ambiguous 02/03/08 or 03/02/08 or its variants) (vi) your expected time of arrival Please indicate clearly whether am or pm or use the 24 hour clock. (vii) your expected date of departure (viii) your expected time of departure There is no need to pay a deposit: we have always trusted in the good faith of our prospective guests. Please do not send any money: money sent rarely reaches us. To allow for possible delays, a reserved room is held for 3 hours from the expected time of arrival, after which it may be released if there are others on the waiting list. PLEASE NOTE that The Atlanta is normally heavily booked; and that as our guests are independent tourists and travellers, most of whom do not know exactly when they will be checking out, it is not possible for us to guarantee absolutely 100% that kind of room you would like to have will be available on the day of your arrival even after accepting your reservation. The most we can promise, realistically, is that we will keep the kind of room you would like for you if one becomes available according to your place in the reservations queue. Failing that, we have no choice but to offer you the next most suitable room. We apologise for the uncertainty, but there is nothing we can do about it! Most guests check in without knowing when they will leave; and those who know when they will leave usually end up extending their stay at The Atlanta. Please note, too, that most hotels and guest houses in our price category do not even bother to reply to a reservation fax or letter. Guests turn up and are offered whatever happens to be available regardless of the reservation. Here at The Atlanta, we make a serious attempt to give you the kind of room you wish to have. OUR REPLY TO YOUR RESERVATION IN 3 DAYS The Atlanta will reply to your reservation as soon as possible and within 3 days. If you have not heard from us after 3 days of sending us your fax, then either (1) your fax has not arrived or is not legible; or (2) we were not able to fax you our reply (wrong number, fax machine not connected, repeated line errors, no reply, etc.) If we are not able to fax you, we will send our reply by normal airmail postage if we have your postal address. Normal airmail postage from Thailand to most countries usually takes 5 to 7 days. You might wish to try faxing us again. Remember: it is best to give us a dedicated fax number to which we can send our reply. |
